The master’s degree provides specialized study for advanced social work practice. Students take foundation and advanced courses in social work practice methods with individuals, families and organization, in policy and services, in research, and in human behavior and the social environment. The M.S.W program will prepare students for advanced social work practice training students for both clinical and macro practice with individuals, families, groups, communities and organizations.
The Department of Sociology, Anthropology, Social Work, and Criminal Justice offers two graduate programs in Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) degree. The Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) Advanced Standing program and the Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) Traditional program.
