Physics Minor

Requirements for the liberal arts minor in physics

To earn a minor in physics, students must complete a minimum of 20 credits, including:

1. Required courses

• PHY 101 - General Physics I (4) or
  PHY 151 - Introductory Physics I
    (4)
• PHY 110 - General Physics Lab I (1)
• PHY 102 - General Physics II (4) or
  PHY 152 - Introductory Physics II
    (4)
• PHY 111 - General Physics Lab II (1)

2. At least 10 credits in physics courses, of which 8 must be numbered 300 or above
