CIT 448 - Information Security Practice(4) Survey of concepts and methods of security policies, models and mechanisms for secrecy, integrity, availability, and authentication. Topics covered include security policies; access control; introduction to cryptography; control and prevention of viruses and other rogue progams; common system vulnerabilities and countermeasures; and legal and social issues. Prerequisite(s): CIT 247 or CSE 247 and major standing in CS/IT.
