BIO 307 - Introduction to Human Microbiology(4) Introduction to the biology of microorganisms emphasizing the infectious diseases they cause and their control. Bacterial, mycotic, protozoan and viral infections; immunology; epidemiology; pathogenic mechanisms; chemotherapy; microbial genetics; microbial growth; and microbial physiology. Required of students in the nursing program. Not open to students who have taken BIO 319. Prerequisite(s): BIO 111 with a grade of 2.0 or higher.
