CSE 5008 - Computer Hardware Design

Development of components and techniques needed to design basic digital circuits and systems for computers, communication, and related applications. Design and analysis of combinational and sequential logic circuits using a hardware description language such as VHDL. Design of a small digital computer and its implementation in an FPGA. This course is cross-listed with an undergraduate course. Credit can be received for only one of CSE 0508, CSE 3710, and CSE 5008. Course repeats are not permitted. Credit not applicable toward an M.S. degree.
