SYS 6520 - Automotive Mechatronics II (4 credits)
An extensive review and in-depth explanation of mechatronics schemes for computer-controlled systems in current automotive systems. Advances for vehicle body dynamics control, electric & hybrid vehicles, active safety, and self-driving. State-of-the-art technologies and methodologies such as MEMs & nanotech, sensors, actuators, power electronics, computation, AI decisions & control. Credit cannot be received for more than one of SYS 6520, ECE 6520, EE 675. Prerequisites: SYS 5520 or ECE 5520 or EE 575.
