CDS 5350 - Clinical Parasitology, Mycology and Virology

( 3 credits)

A thorough introduction to clinical parasitology, mycology and virology. Included are: taxonomy and structure, specimen collection and cultivation techniques, life cycles, reproduction, epidemiology and disease pathogenesis, microbial virulence, identification and control. Cross-Listed with CDS 4350.  Credit can be received for only one course.
