SW 5835 - Diagnosis & Assessment of Mental Health and Educational Disabilities in School Social Work

(2 credits)

Introduces direct practice of school social work in an education setting. Students will develop an understanding of the diagnostics, assessment and testing of children in an educational setting. In addition, students will explore theories related to child psychopathology and the impact of mental health and educational disabilities on children and families.

Prerequisite(s): Admission into MSW Program.
