SW 6101 - Cultural Competency for Advanced Generalist Practice (4 credits)
This course examines the impact of culture, race and ethnicity on client/worker interactions, presents practice theories and interventions for culturally competent advanced generalist practice with different populations, and emphasizes experiential learning of cultural competence skills to provide services cross-culturally.
Prerequisite(s): SW 5102 or degree admission to the Advanced Standing MSW program.
