SW 6202 - Policy II: Advocacy and Change

(4 credits)

This course provides students with advanced generalist skills, knowledge and ethics for advanced policy practice roles within social agencies, communities and political arenas. Examines the history, strategies and approaches to advocacy and policy/program planning and development. Students demonstrate advanced skills in working with communities and policy processes on multiple levels. 
 

Prerequisite(s): SW 5202 or degree admission to the Advanced Standing MSW Program.
