RDG 5200 - Early Literacies

(4 credits)

This course will cover students’ development and assessment/instructional methods for concepts about print, phonological and phonemic awareness, phonic knowledge, letter name and sound knowledge, word recognition and meaning strategies, fluency, orthographic knowledge, emergent/beginning composition that includes multiple modes of meaning representation, oral language, and comprehension with typically and atypically developing students.
