To earn a Bachelor of Arts with a combined major in sociology/anthropology, students must complete a minimum of 20 credits in sociology and 20 credits in anthropology including the following:

1. Sociology courses

SOC 100 - Introduction to Sociology (4)
SOC 202 - Introduction to Methods of Social Research (4)
SOC 203 - Social Statistics with Computer Applications (4)

2. Anthropology courses

AN 101 - Human and Cultural Evolution (4)
AN 102 - Culture and Human Nature (4)

3. One course chosen from

SOC 400 - Sociological Theory (4)
AN 470 - Anthropological Theory (4)

Note:

No more than 8 credits counted toward the major may be taken in SOC /AN 190 , SOC /

AN 392

SOC

/AN 399, or SOC/AN 480.
