Program Description

A Career Development Facilitator (CDF) is an individual who works in any career development setting or who incorporates career development information or skills, working with students, adults, clients, employees or the public. The  National Career Development Association’s  CDF certification is an extensive, 120-hour program.  Instruction is personalized for your work setting and taught by certified instructors. Originating at Oakland University, the credential was developed to provide standards, training specifications and credentialing for these career providers. Individuals who successfully complete the course requirements may apply for the Global Career Development Facilitator Certificate.

Who should register?

Individuals who provide or will provide career services in business and industry, government agencies, schools, colleges and universities such as: career coaches, HR staff, job search trainer, career resource coordinators, or workforce development staff/managers.

Course Description

The curriculum is delivered via a hybrid format which includes face-to-face sessions and online delivery for a total of 120 instructional hours.
