ECE 491 - Senior Design

Capstone design projects selected from a wide variety of areas related to electrical and computer engineering. Develops system approach to design: preparation of specifications, scheduling, modeling, simulations, and technological, financial and environmental aspects. Multi-discipilinary teamwork is emphasized. Prototyping, testing and completion of the project are required. Presentation of results required. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a capstone experience. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major. Prerequisite for writing intensive: completion of the university writing foundation requirement.
Prerequisite(s): For Electrical Engineering majors: ECE 327, 345, 351 and ECE 378. For Computer Engineering majors: ECE 327, 378 and 470.
Corequisite(s): For Electrical Engineering majors: ECE 431, 437.
