COM 399 - Community Field Experience

Faculty approved field experience in volunteer community service. Focus on developing an understanding of the relationship between communication and community with readings, essays, response papers, and in-class presentations and discussion. Satisfies the university general education requirement for the capstone experience. Satisfies the university general education requirement for a writing intensive course in the major.
Prerequisite(s): senior standing, communication major, and at least 20 credits of COM courses and completion of the university writing foundation requirement.
