MUT 260 - Creative Composition I

(2) Credits
Techniques for composing original music including approaches to conceptualization, form, texture, melody, harmony and counterpoint. Skills will be developed in music notation, synthesizers, sequencers and computer software. Frequent composition projects will be assigned and performed in class.
Prerequisite(s): MUT 260.
