MUS 341 - Secondary General Music Methods

(2)
Principles and practices of teaching music, based on experiences in a secondary general music classroom. Emphasis on the development of musical understanding through an interactive, constructivist approach, including study of current trends in education and music education. Three hours per week participation in onsite field observation and teaching required.
Prerequisite(s): MUS 241, 332; MUT 214, 215.
