Requirements for the liberal arts majors in theatre, B.A. program


This degree is for students who wish a broad general education without a high degree of specialization in dance or theatre. Students must successfully complete the performance production requirement, the events attendance requirement and the senior interview as described in the department’s Undergraduate Dance Handbook or Undergraduate Theatre Handbook, available on the department website, www.oakland.edu/mtd. Students should consult with the departmental adviser in the College of Arts and Sciences Advising Office to plan their degree program. Only major courses in which a grade of at least 2.0 has been earned will count towards the major. These degree programs require a minimum of 124 credits.

Three additional courses from any three of the distribution categories except art/literature.

Note


Theatre electives, chosen in consultation with theatre adviser, may include DAN technique, MUA/MUE voice and SA or AH classes.
