Wellness, Health Promotion and Injury Prevention Minor

A minor in wellness, health promotion and injury prevention is available to students majoring in other programs such as anthropology, integrative studies, health sciences, human resource development, psychology or sociology.

Each of the following courses required for the minor must be obtained with a minimum grade of 2.5

HS 201 - Health in Personal and Occupational Environments (4) Credits
HS 302 - Community and Public Health (4) Credits
WHP 300 - Assessment Interventions and Injury Prevention (4) Credits
WHP 305 - Laboratory in Assessment and Interventions (4) Credits
WHP 310 - Injury Prevention, Control, and Safety Promotion (4) Credits
WHP 350 - Health Program Implementation (4) Credits
EXS 204 - Weight Control, Nutrition and Exercise (4) Credits
