Requirements for an elementary teaching minor in a modern language
The requirements for an elementary teaching minor in a modern language is a minimum of 20 credits in one language. All credits must be at the 300-400 level
Note
At least 12 credits of those required for the elementary teaching minor in a modern language must be taken at Oakland University. Additional information
In addition, an Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) score of advanced-low, and EED 428 , Methods of Teaching Foreign Language are required. Students must consult with the appropriate adviser for teaching majors and minors in the department.
