Program Description
Thank you for your interest in our Project Management program. We offer a Project Management course as a Registered Education Provider (REP) of the Project Management Institute (PMI). In 2016, our Project Management Principles course was listed among Top 50 Best Value Project Management Certificate Programs in the United States by Value Colleges.com. We currently offer two courses, Project Management Principles and MS Project 2010. These courses are conducted in person.
Project Management Principles is designed for anyone responsible for completing projects/assignments on time, within budget, while meeting customer specifications and quality requirements. The course provides a foundation in the core knowledge tested on the PMP® and CAPM® certification exams as well as the necessary 35 professional development units (PDUs) required for certification but those exams are not part of this course. The MS Project 2010 course covers tools, tips, and techniques to use Microsoft Project 2010 software to manage time tasks, people and resources to effectively deliver projects.
There are no prerequisites for the courses, however, there are specific educational and experience requirements that must be met before one is eligible for certification through the Project Management Institute. Please see the PMI.org website for these requirements and certification details.
